Israeli Winter Flowers

These are just a few of the different flowers you find in Israel all during the winter months of December - March.

As a former Northeasterner I must say however that the winter weather here overall is pretty much a joke, with average temperatures in the 40's and 50's Farenheit, usually partly cloudy or sunny, and many days in the 60's and even 70's.

These pictures were taken in various places such as the Ramon Crater in the south, the Gilboa mountain range, and the Carmel mountain area near Haifa. All of them highly recommended places for seeing the true natural beauty of this country. Posted by Picasa
